NYC restaurant week is an original and was the country’s first week dedicated to dinning. The dinning week first debuted in 1992 when it was developed as a one-time culinary event to welcome the Democratic National Convention to the city.
As if the city was going to get away with delegate-only dining, The residents of New York City flocked to different restaurants in search of the cheaper cuisine and demanded they too be included.
Since that time, the NYC Restaurant Week has grown tremendously and expanded to include not only dinner but lunch also. Can we say -meal-steal- Three-course prix-fixe meals for only $24.07 and $35.oo.
This winter, more than 300 restaurants are participating so pick up your spoon and head over to the big apple to claim your cheap cuisine!
