Two Men Killed in Hauppauge Car Crash

Two men were killed in a car crash in Hauppauge on Sunday evening.

Suffolk County police said Frank Rizzo, 30, of Nesconset, was driving eastbound on Veterans Memorial Highway when he lost control of his vehicle and struck two trees at 5:10 p.m.

The only passenger in the vehicle, Joseph DiFiore, 30, of Washington Township, NJ, was ejected from the car, police said.

Rizzo was pronounced dead at the scene. DiFiore was taken to Stony Brook University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating the accident. Fourth Squad detectives ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call them at 631-854-8452.
