Rumors have been circulating that DJ Tiësto died in a car accident, however they were proven false after his Twitter account confirmed that he was alive.
The Dutch Disc Jockey tweeted that he was alive and well. “It’s nice to read that people care about my life.Thank you for all the support. It’s good to be alive and to get so much love from You xx,” he wrote.
Online reports suggested that Tiësto lost control of a friends vehicle, while driving on Interstate 80 in California. The false rumors said he hit the center lane divider causing the vehicle to flip and roll several times, killing him instantly. It was also said that he was traveling 95 mph, 40 mph over the speed limit.
