Robyn Brings the Beat to Terminal 5

by Brad Pareso on November 10, 2010

Wednesday 11.10
NYC
Robyn @ Terminal 5
610 W. 56th St. 212-582-6600. $29.50-$34.50. 7 p.m.
with Maluca and Natalia Kills

In February, Swedish electro pop overlord Robyn told Bon magazine she would release three albums this year. Three albums? Sure, because that’s believable. But then, on June 15, Body Talk Pt. 1 came out. And then, on Sept. 7, Body Talk Pt. 2 came out. And on Nov. 22, Robyn will fulfill her promise with a month to spare when Body Talk drops. The trilogy’s title is an apt one—Body Talk will make your body talk, your feet step, your head bob, your fist pump. Robyn’s pop is not your sister’s pop (unless your sister is Robyn), but despite going on hiatus following her self-titled 2005 ass-kicker of an album, everything she’s put out this year is more now than pretty much everything else. See Robyn at Terminal 5 because why not, but don’t fret another five-year incubation period: Speaking to BBC Newsbeat about the trio, she said the smaller, EP-like releases were “good for everyone,” because they didn’t “empty” her like a 16-track album. Couldn’t agree more.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
