Brett Favre, Jenn Sterger: Nude Photo, Sexting Scandal

by Lindsay Christ on October 8, 2010

Brett Favre allegedly made a non-football related pass at Jenn Sterger, a young sideline reporter for the New York Jets while he was the team’s quaterback.

Favre is said to have sent a number of texts, some including pictures of his genitals. Website Deadspin.com has a video showing the Myspace messages, the pictures (NSFW) and voicemails from 2008 that are allegedly from Favre.

Sterger, 26, is a former Playboy pinup and is currently a co-host of “The Daily Line” on the sports network Versus. Deadspin reported that she would not comment about the messages, but said she told the site last winter that she joked to a Jet executive that she wouldn’t date a high-profile athlete like Favre because she “might end up in a garbage can.

Favre, 40, is married. He also refused to comment on the allegations, saying on Thursday “I’m not getting into that. I’ve got my hands full with the Jets.”

Nothing But Net: The Net At Night, October 2010

by Brad Pareso on October 7, 2010
The worst part about fall, besides the increasingly cold temperatures and bizarre enjoyment people get from watching leaves drop off trees (whoopie! dead foliage!), is the shorter days. One upside is I can start writing “Net At Night” earlier in the day. [...]

Nothing But Net: The Net at Night, August 2010

by Brad Pareso on August 5, 2010
It’s 3:40 a.m. I just ate four burgers and some “sweet” “potato” fries from White Castle. And yes, the Northern State Parkway is still closed going east every night. Do construction crews do anything? I’m going to write a story where I spend a shift with [...]
