Franklin Square Donut Shop Robbed at Gunpoint

A donut shop was robbed at gunpoint in Franklin Square early Thursday morning, Nassau police said. donut1

A man entered the Dunkin Donuts on Franklin Avenue, pulled out a handgun and stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the 35-year-old clerk at 3:40 a.m., according to 5th Squad detectives. The robber then fled the store on foot.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to call Crime-Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
