Last week, I got my 2009 Village Voice Pazz & Jop Poll ballot, which means it is officially, finally, not too early for me craft my list of the 10 best albums of 2009. Naturally, this is a list I have been compiling literally all year long, and of course, I’ve listened to, and loved, a lot of albums this year—way too many to fit into a Top 10. So, I’m expanding my definition of Top 10…and making it a Top 30!
