Worms eat your leftovers? Yes! Learn how you can reduce your waste into the landfill and at the same time make some of the best organic fertilizer nature has to offer. Vermicomposting is the process of breaking down organic matter with worms. Red Wigglers are one of the best composting worms around. They look similar to the earthworms in your garden, but act a bit different. Their castings are a gardener’s dream! If you are looking to reduce your use of chemical fertilizers/pesticides and lessen your impact on the landfill, vermicomposting is for you! Presented by Lynn Monaco of The Essential Earthworm.
