The Miami Heat: basketball’s version of the Yankees?
Not exactly, but another fairly high-profile signing is making the team look more and more like a veritable all-star roster.
Eddie House has signed a two-year contract with the Heat, according to House’s agent Mark Bartelstein, for $2.8 million. The second year is a player option.
House began his NBA career with the Heat when he was drafted in the second round of the 2000 pool. After bouncing around other teams, eight in total including the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics, House will suit up with Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and LeBron James this season.
