Suffolk County police are looking for a man who broke into a home and sexually assaulted someone in Stony Brook nearly two weeks ago.
Police said the suspect entered the home through an unlocked door on Nov. 20 between 11 and 11:30 p.m. and was carrying a rifle. He is described as a white male, between five-foot ten and five-foot eleven inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a mask and dark clothes during the incident.
There have been no reports of similar incidents in the area, police said.
Police did not release the location, names or gender of the victim due to the nature of the crime.
