Flanders Man Charged With DWI Crash

An alleged drunken driver has been arrested after Southampton Town Police said he crashed his car on Thanksgiving.

Officers responded to the scene in a parking lot on County Road 39 in Southampton, where they found the driver, Marco Hernandez, to be under the influence of alcohol at 8:45 p.m. Thursday, police said.

The 33-year-old Flanders man was charged with driving while intoxicated, backing unsafely and driving without a license.


He will be arraigned Friday at Southampton Town Justice Court.
