A 23-year-old woman has been accused of leaving her two young children home alone in Hampton Bays for more than an hour while she went out on a date.

Southampton Town Police arrested Maridelky Dilone at her West Tiana Road apartment at 10:45 p.m. Friday.

Police said she left her two kids, ages 5 and 3, alone and unsupervised in her apartment.

Dilone was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Arraignment information was not immediately available.

The children were released into the custody of their father.
