Michael Lohan’s ex arrested on battery charge

by Associated Press on January 15, 2012

BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) — The ex-girlfriend of the father of actress Lindsay Lohan is back in jail.

Palm Beach County jail records show 29-year-old Kate Major is being held without bond on several charges including battery on an officer and resisting an officer with violence. It was not immediately known if she has an attorney.

Records show she was arrested early Sunday morning by Boca Raton police. A phone message left Sunday by The Associated Press was not immediately returned.

The arrest was first reported by TMZ.

Major is the ex-girlfriend of Michael Lohan, who pleaded no contest in Florida late last year stemming from domestic violence charges. He was ordered not to have any contact with Major.

Major was arrested on a battery charge last year at Los Angeles International Airport.
