Two brothers were killed and a third man was injured in a shooting in Brentwood early Sunday morning, Suffolk County police said.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting near the corner of Lincoln Avenue and Stockton Street, where they found Enston Ceron Jr., 21, and his19-year-old brother, Ricardo, had been shot while they were sitting in a Nissan Altima at 2:50 a.m., police said.
Those two victims, who were only seven blocks from their home at the time, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police also found that another motorist in the area had been shot. That victim was taken to an area hospital where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. His identity was not immediately released.
The shooting came one week after three men were shot, one fatally, in a drive-by shooting in nearby Central Islip.
