A suspect wanted for allegedly stabbing a man to death in Gordon Heightson over the weekend has been apprehended.
Suffolk County police arrested Darrell Scott and charged him with second-degree murder.
Homicide Squad detectives said the 25-year-old is accused of killing Chauncey Scott, 32, at 6:10 p.m. Sunday after the two got into an argument on the corner of Baldwin Lane and Pinegrove Avenue.
The two Coram men are unrelated.
The victim was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue, where he died less than an hour later.
Darrell Scott will be arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Central Islip.
