We didn’t think anything could top last week’s explosive Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion show…and we were right. Part two of the Bravo reunion was a snoozefest compared to the first half, but it was nonetheless a surreal roller coaster ride.
While there were no violent outbursts mimicking angry gorillas in the jungle, and, sadly, no Andy Cohen shoving, there were more storm-offs. Danielle Staub once again was overcome by emotion so much so she had to walk off set—unfortunately we didn’t see any more “amazing things, news beginnings” pep talks from her stylist or rumored lesbian lover Lori Michaels.
Danielle also brought the crazy in the form of a creepy mannequin head replete with extensions to demonstrate the amount of force Jacqueline’s daughter Ashley used to pull out Danielle’s hair extensions. Nevermind the fact the extensions were sewn into the plastic head. But it really doesn’t matter, because at the end of the show, Danielle promised Jacqueline she would drop the charges against her daughter stemming from the hair-pulling incident.
Real Housewife wannabe Kim G also made an appearance. For what reason, we do not know. Wait—yes we do. She really wanted to show of the dress she wore to her senior prom in 1927. As if watching her attempt to put a chokehold on a stripper pole with her thighs while wearing booty shorts didn’t burn our retinas enough.

Another crazy highlight: Teresa Giudice offered to fight Danielle for money. “Pay me $100,000 and I’ll get in the ring with her,” she told host Andy Cohen. No doubt that Bravo will make it happen and air a 10-part special around it.
The most insane moment of all last night came from Danielle (not surprising), when she decided to make nice with her castmates (surprising?). Her attempts to play nice and the subsequent hugs she offered seemed genuinely shocking until Bravo spilled the beans that she is leaving the show for good. Reunion host and Bravo VP of original programming Andy Cohen announced “The reunion was Danielle’s last appearance on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. We thought the hugs were a great way to end two seasons of bitterness between the women.” So like everything else in Danielle’s life, the reconciliation was staged.
The news brings so many questions. What’s next for Danielle? Who is going to replace her? Did she quit? Was she fired? Will she get her own spinoff like Bethenny from the Real Housewives of New York? Only time will tell. Let’s just hope that no matter what, Danielle continues to make beautiful music.
