It’s been more than 24 hours and Optimum Online Webmail service is still down, leaving customers from Brooklyn to New Jersey and all across Long Island with no E-mail access.
“Cablevision is experiencing technical issues that have resulted in email delays and email access issues for some customers,” says Sarah Chaikin, media relations director for Cablevision. “We have located the problem and expect to resolve the matter as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience to our customers, and we will update this announcement as more information becomes available.”
Optimum subscribers not only lost E-mail, but some were left without phone service.
