Lady Gaga’s whiskey quaffing and fondling of her own breasts while trying to meet Yankee players Friday night did not get the avant-guard pop star banned from the Yankee clubhouse, contrary to earlier reports.

“She’s not banned,” New York Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman said, according to ESPN. “Celebrities aren’t banned. If Michael Jordan showed up here he would have access [to the clubhouse], but not after a loss.”
Gaga allegedly talked security guards into granting her clubhouse access. The media, a clubhouse mainstay, was barred from entering the clubhouse.
Though Yankees co-chairman Hal Steinbrenner reportedly banned Gaga from the clubhouse forever because of her behavior and her barely-there attire, consisting of a half-opened Yankees jersey, fishnet tights and black underwear, Cashman said that problem with Gaga’s presence was its timing.
“There is just a time and place,” Cashman said. “It is not her fault.”
The “Bad Romance” singer reportedly met second baseman Robinson Cano while in the clubhouse.
“She can sing, I’ll tell you that,” Cano said.
Yankees manager Joe Girardi said such celebrity appearances aren’t a distraction for the players.
Girardi explained, “Our guys know that when it’s time to play, it’s time to play, and they’re used to it.”
