Two Patchogue-Medford High School students were arrested Tuesday for making bomb threats at the school, Suffolk County police said.
School personnel reported to police that they had found messages written on a bathroom wall on June 4 and June 7, stating a bomb was going to go off at the school.
Anthony Ferraro, 18, of Medford, and a second suspect were charged with falsely reporting an incident. The second student’s name was not released because he is younger than 16 years oldĀ and is being treated as a juvenile delinquent.
Ferraro will be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Central Islip. The juvenile was released to the custody of his parents and is scheduled to appear in Family Court at a later date.
