Setauket Wal-Mart Burglarized

Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help concerning a burglary that happened at Setauket on Saturday morning.

Management at the Wal-Mart on Route 347 entered their store at 6:30 a.m. and discovered a safe located in the store had been burglarized. Taken from it were an undisclosed amount of cash and transaction documents.

The store was closed for four hours during the investigation.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have information pertaining to the burglary call the 6th Squad at 631-854-8652 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
