Long Island Rail Road Delays

Thursday:

City Terminal Zone- The LIRR is experiencing delays of 20 to 60 minutes on all branches.

Babylon-The Babylon Branch delays up to 20 to 25 minutes in both directions.

Far Rockaway- The 7:49 AM from Far Rockaway due NY 8:42 is operating 11 minutes late at Valley Stream.

Hempstead- Suspended

Long Beach-The 8:08 AM from Long Beach due NY 9:02 AM is 26 minutes late due to weather related problems.

Montauk- Buses replace trains east of Speonk in both directions.

Oyster Bay- The 5:50 AM from Oyster Bay due NY 7:06 AM is 25 minutes late due to weather related problems.

Port Jefferson- The 5:45 AM train from Port Jefferson, due in Penn Station at 7:20 AM, is operating 64 minutes late.

Port Washington-The first train to operate on the Port Washington Branch is the 8:45 AM due NY 9:20 AM.

Ronkonoma-The Ronkonkoma Branch has delays of 40 to 60 minutes.

West Hempstead– The next train to run on the West Hempstead Branch will be the 8:54 AM due Atlantic Terminal 9:40.

AM Peak Train Cancelations:
The following westbound AM rush hour trains will be canceled. Other trains may be canceled in addition to these trains.

Babylon Branch

  • 5:59 AM from Massapequa Park, due in Penn Station at 6:55 AM, is canceled. Customers will be accommodated by the 5:56 AM train from Babylon, due in Penn Station at 6:59 AM, which will make all combined stops. 
  • 6:14 AM from Massapequa, due in Penn Station at 7:08 AM, is canceled. Customers will be accommodated by the 6:26 AM Massapequa train due in Penn Station at 7:22 AM. 
  • 6:57 AM from Freeport combined with 6:32 AM from Babylon making all stops of the Babylon train plus Freeport, Baldwin, Rockville Centre, and NY.
  • 6:59 AM from Massapequa, due in Atlantic Terminal at 7:54 AM, is canceled. Customers will be accommodated by the 6:52 AM Babylon train due in Atlantic Terminal at 7:59 AM, making all combined stops. 
  • 7:29 AM from Freeport combined with 7:11 AM from Massapequa Park making all stops of the Babylon train plus Freeport, Baldwin, Rockville Centre and NY.
  • 8:10 AM from Freeport combined with 7:45 AM from Babylon making all stops of the Babylon train plus Freeport, Baldwin, Rockville Centre and NY.
  • 8:25 AM from Freeport combined with 8:03 AM from Babylon making all stops of the Babylon train plus Freeport, Baldwin, Rockville Centre and NY.

Ronkonkoma Branch

  • 6:00 AM from Farmingdale, due in Penn Station at 6:50 AM, is canceled. Customers will be accommodated by the 5:42 AM Ronkonkoma train due in Penn Station at 6:58 AM. 
  • 6:54 AM from Central Islip, due in Penn Station at 8:06 AM, is canceled. Customers will be accommodated by the 6:56 AM Ronkonkoma train due in Atlantic Terminal at 8:17 AM, and the 7:04 AM Ronkonkoma train due in Penn Station at 8:19 AM.

Port Jefferson Branch

  • 6:25 AM from Hicksville combined with 6:15 AM from Huntington arriving at Hicksville at 6:33 AM, making stops at Carle Place, Merillon Avenue, New Hyde Park and NY.
  • 6:50 AM from Huntington, due in Hunterspoint Ave at 7:49 AM, is canceled. Customers will be accommodated by the 6:18 AM Port Jefferson train due in Hunterspoint Ave at 8:00 AM.
  • 6:59 AM train from Westbury due in Penn Station at 7:43 AM is canceled. Customers will be accommodated by the 7:18 AM train from Westbury due in Penn Station at 8:02 AM.
  • 8:55 AM from Huntington combined with 8:34 AM from Port Jefferson making all stops including Westbury, Carle Place, Merillon Avenue, New Hyde Park, Kew Gardens, Forest Hills, Woodside and NY.

Port Washington Branch

  • 6:17 AM from Port Washington combined with 6:27 AM from Port Washington.
  • 7:06 AM from Great Neck, due in Penn Station at 7:46 AM, is canceled. Customers will be accommodated by the 7:22 AM Little Neck train due in Penn Station at 7:55 AM, making all combined stops.
  • 8:58 AM from Great Neck, due in Penn Station at 9:34 AM, is canceled. Customers will be accommodated by the 8:45 AM train from Port Washington, due in Penn Station at 9:20 AM, which will make all combined stops.

Long Beach Branch

  • 6:54 AM from Long Beach combined with the 7:04 AM from Long Beach making all stops including Rosedale, Laurelton, Locust Manor, Jamaica  and NY
  • 8:03 AM from Long Beach combined with 8:08 AM from Long Beach making all stops to NY.
  • 8:58 AM from Long Beach, due in Penn Station at 9:53 AM, is canceled. Customers will be accommodated by the 9:21 AM train from Long Beach, due in Penn Station at 10:11 AM, which will make all combined stops.

Hempstead Branch

  • 6:58 AM from Hempstead, due in Penn Station at 7:52 AM, is canceled. Customers will be accommodated by the 7:12 AM Hempstead train due in Penn Station at 8:03 AM, making all combined stops.
  • 7:36 AM from Hempstead combined with 8:03 AM from Hempstead, making all stops including Queens Village, Hollis, Jamaica and NY.
  • 8:45 AM from Hempstead is combined with the 9:04 AM from Hempstead, making all stops to NY.

Far Rockaway Branch

  • 6:28 AM from Far Rockaway combined with 6:40 AM from Far Rockaway making all stops to NY
  • 8:10 AM from Far Rockaway combined with 8:21 AM from Far Rockaway making all stops including Rosedale, Laurelton, Locust Manor and NY.
  • 8:54 AM from Far Rockaway, due in Atlantic Terminal at 9:50 AM, is canceled. Customers will be accommodated by the 9:36 AM train from Far Rockaway due in Atlantic Terminal at 10:33 AM.

West Hempstead Branch

  • 8:54 AM from West Hempstead combined with the 10:12 AM from West Hempstead which operates to Valley Stream where customers may transfer for service to western terminals.

Oyster Bay Branch

  • 7:26 AM from East Williston, due in Penn Station at 8:14 AM, is canceled. Customers will be accommodated by the 7:13 AM train from Oyster Bay, due in Jamaica at 8:09 AM.

If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
