Dwyane Wade’s Ex-Wife Sues Gabrielle Union, Wade’s Girlfriend

by Long Island Press on May 6, 2010

Dwyane Wade (don’t worry, we thought his first name was spelled “Dwayne” too) is being sued. Not by the NBA for misconduct. Not by Nike or a sportswear company for failing to fulfill contractual obligations. Not by a fan for knocking their bag of popcorn all over the place when he dove into the stands to save a stray ball.

No, D-Wade is being sued by his estranged wife Siohvaughn Funches because of emotional distress he caused her and their two sons, 8-year-old Zaire and 2-year-old Zion. The charges stem from Wade’s ongoing relationship with actress Gabrielle Union, his new girlfriend.

Funches alleges Wade and Union neglected the two children, allowing Zaire to play near a pool without supervision and Zion to nearly drowned. It also alleges Union and Wade “engaged in sexual foreplay” in front of the two kids while she was visiting him at his Miami home.

Funches is seeking $50,000 for the emotional distress she’s endured. How much money does it take to get over having your husband stolen by a Hollywood actress? Sure, 50K sounds about right.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
