Cops: Brothers Set Bagel Store Afire

Suffolk police arrested two Queens brothers on Friday for allegedly setting their Huntington Station bagel store on fire three months ago.

Natan Khaimov, 22, and Robert Khaimov, 28, both of Flushing, were charged with arson for setting a fire at the Uber Café on Depot Road in the early morning hours of Sept. 9. They will be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Central Islip.
 
Homicide and Arson Squad detectives investigated are after a firefighter died at the scene.
 
Richard Holst, a 60-year-old member of the Huntington Manor Fire Department from Huntington Station, reported the fire but collapsed shortly afterwards and was taken to Huntington Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
 
Holst was found to have died of natural causes.
