Suffolk police are investigating a burglary at a residence in Bay Shore, in which the homeowner was shot and wounded by intruders on Wednesday night.

Police say at about 8:40 p.m., three men, two armed with handguns, forced 30-year-old Miguel Bisono of 1701 Westwood Boulevard into his home and demanded money. Bisono was reportedly put on his knees and shot once in the lower-right portion of his back.

The men then left the scene with a black shoulder bag containing cash and an iPhone, according to police. Bisono was taken to Southside Hospital and treated. He remains in serious but stable condition.

The suspects are described as males, wearing black masks and all dark clothing. The weapons used were described as handguns, one possibly silver and one possibly black.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have information to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352; or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.  All calls will be kept confidential.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
