A drunken driving West Babylon woman was arrested following a car crash on a parkway in North Babylon early Wednesday morning, New York State police said.

Venessa Hobson, 38, was found to have a blood alcohol content of .12 percent after Troopers responded to the scene of a two-car crash on the eastbound side of the Southern State Parkway near Exit 36 at 1:15 a.m., police said.
She was charged with driving while intoxicated and other traffic violations. She is due at First District Court in Central Islip on Dec. 04.
