A man and woman were arrested on drug charges in Merrick last week, Nassau police said. 
Seventh Precinct officers saw the pair acting suspiciously near the Taco Bell on Merrick Road and upon further investigation, Kelly Canavan, 25, of Freeport and Colin Poore, 27, of Merrick were found in possession of heroin on Nov. 17.
They were each charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
