SOELDEN, Austria (AP) — Bode Miller believes he still has what it takes to win the overall World Cup title.
Miller rejoined the U.S. team last month, but after a seven-month layoff from skiing won’t compete in the World Cup season opener this weekend. He plans to start Nov. 15 in Levi, Finland.
Miller attended a sponsor’s event Thursday and said he stands a good chance at the overall title because he is one of the few skiers who does well in all disciplines. He adds that his conditioning will be the key to his success.
