We may only have one professional sports team on Long Island, but we’ve groomed famous athletes from every sport imaginable.
Football players, basketball stars, figure skaters–our fellow Long Islanders have made us proud as every type of athlete. In fact, this may have been the toughest list to make so far. We could have easily done a Top 25, or even a Top 50, but since our whole shtick is Top Ten, we were forced to make some cuts.
