NASA hit record and erased footage of the first moon landing

You thought taping over your wedding video was bad. National Public Radio (NRP) is reporting that NASA has made an embarrassing and inconceivable admission this week, just days before the 40th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.

They have erased many of the tapes that held the video of the first moonwalk in the history of mankind.

The search for the tapes has apparently been ongoing for about three years, in which thousands and thousands of videotapes were screened to try to locate the irreplaceable footage. Eventually, NASA officials had to admit that the tapes were probably erased to make room for new recordings.

The footage was shot from a video camera that still resides on the moon at the Sea of Tranquility, where astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin set foot and took the famous steps the world continues to marvel at.

The revelation by NASA will only fuel a popular conspiracy that the moon missions were all faked, set up on a sound stage and broadcast to the world.

Today is the 40th Anniversary of Apollo 11’s take off. The lunar landing happened on July 20, 1969.
