Actress Jessica Lucas appeared on George Lopez’s show Lopez Tonight Wednesday and revealed that it was her first talk show appearance.

Lucas, a 25-year-old from Vancouver, Canada, was on the show to talk about her role in the film Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son with Martin Lawrence. In it the actress plays a student at a girls’ school for the performing arts who complicates the murder investigation Big Momma (Lawrence) and his son Trent (Brandon T. Jackson) are involved in after Trent develops a crush on her.
If Lucas looks familiar, it’s because she has been in several popular movies and television shows. Her acting career started in 2001 when she became a series regular on Canadian teen drama Edgemont. She then was in the short-lived ABC drama Life As We Know It. She was also in films She’s The Man and The Covenant, and appeared on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and is known for her roles in Melrose Place and Cloverfield.
