Lady Gaga has obtained a restraining order against a fan that allegedly sent her a death threat.

Anastasia Obukhova, a 26-year-old Russian fan, wrote in a letter to the singer: “You come to my dreams. I want to die and I want to die together with you.” The New York based student also referenced Mark Chapman, the man who assassinated John Lennon. “I am not Mark Chapman. It is not only you who will die. I will shoot a bullet through my head too.”
Obukhova is now banned for going within 500 meters of Gaga, and the singer has reportedly stepped up her security.
