Best of L.I. 2011: Bragging Rights

The Best of L.I. winners leave no one wondering who won. With trophies in the form of big banners adorning winning establishments, businesses make it clear who is the best.

Driving through Long Island, you’re sure to catch a proudly hung banner with the Best of L.I. logo on certain buildings. Coin Galleries in Huntington gives any passerby a glance into its windows, one of which has the stamp of approval sign that ensures each customer is coming to the best. Bagel Boss in Plainview dives into even more detail with its banner and gives a distinct timeline of each of its many wins. Need a haircut? Cactus Salon in Syosset promises the best with its Best of L.I.-bannered window. Soft Touch Laser & Skin Renewal in Syosset boasts by draping its banner front and center in its storefront. Woodbury’s Buttafuoco and Associates takes no chances and hangs its banner where everyone can see it.

Whoever the winner, the Best of L.I. banners clear up any misconceptions and prove to any patron they came to the right place.

Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
