Lindsay Lohan confirmed on her twitter account Friday night that she failed her recent drug test.
“Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test,” the 24-year-old tweeted. She also recognized the fact that she will face consequences for the failure. “I am prepared to appear before Judge Fox next week as a result,” she continued on the social networking website. Lohan had been threatened with 30 days in jail for each probation violation.

TMZ first broke the story, reporting that she failed a court mandated drug test by testing positive for cocaine. Lohan initially denied the reports before confirming them later in the night.
The actress was released from jail in early August after serving 13 of her 90 day sentence for violating probation from a 2007 DUI case. She had most recently left a rehab program on August 24 after 23 days of treatment.
