Dirty Projectors – Stillness Is The Move   [audio:StillnessIsTheMove.mp3]

What’s does a band’s name tell you about its music? In the case of Dirty Projectors, lies. Their songs are not dirty; they are well-scripted and clean. They aren’t projected; they are carefully executed. My favorite DP song, “Stillness is the Move,” starts off with what sounds like the drum track from one song, the guitar part from another, a string arrangement here and a subtle bleep-bloop synthesizer there, and a pair of female vocalists who sound like they are off beat from each other. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, all the parts suddenly line up and you’re left with an unmistakable, unique sound. It’s like walking outside, looking up and happening to see a solar eclipse.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
