“What’s up, New York City? Welcome to my world, ” Bieber yelled to the crowd. “We are gonna have a lot of fun tonight. I got a lot of surprises in store for you guys!”
Bieber was later joined by Boyz II Men, Usher, Jaden Smith, Ludacris and Miley Cyrus and even took a flight via cage over the audience while singing “Never Let You Go” and playing the guitar. He then brought a girl from the audience up on stage and sang “One Less Lonely Girl” while thousands of other fans shot death glares at her.
“My motto to live by, there’s gonna be times in your life when people tell you you can’t do something,” Bieber said. “This is what I tell ’em: ‘Never Say Never.’ ”
Before the show kicked off on Tuesday, Bieber tweeted to his fans to show up at Madison Square Garden wearing purple even if they didn’t have tickets, giving many the idea that they might get inside, but no word from fans yet if that ever happened.
