Long Island’s microbrewers are joining forces to help save one of their own, Oceanside-based Barrier Brewing Company, which was destroyed by Superstorm Sandy.

“We thought our name would provide enough protection,” they joked on their Facebook page, trying to keep spirits high. The brewery will be closed for the foreseeable future while repairs are made.

Long Island’s Craft Beer Explosion

What better way to give back than raising a pint glass at the all-you-can-drink fundraiser benefitting Barrier’s comeback?

LI brewers are also collaborating on a special one-time-only brew just for the occasion.

The event is scheduled for 1-5 p.m. Sunday at Tap and Barrel, 558 Smithtown Bypass. $50 for all you can drink.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
