A teenager wanted for shooting death of a Freeport man last month has been apprehended in Maryland, Nassau County police said.
Raye Ahmed of Roosevelt was arrested and charged with second-degree murder in Baltimore last week.
Homicide Squad detectives said Ahmed fatally shot Shaqueil Reese on Guy Lombardo Avenue on Sept. 29.
Both the suspect and the victim are 19.
Ahmed was extradited back to Long Island on Friday. He will be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
