Unidentified Body Found In Brentwood

by Jaclyn Gallucci on March 22, 2012

The body of an unidentified man was found stabbed to death in Brentwood Wednesday evening by a local resident and police are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

At 6:50 a.m., police received a 911 call from a Brentwood resident who found the body adjacent to his home in a wooded, leafy lot on Mayflower Avenue.

Police says the body is that of a Hispanic man in his late 20s to early 30s. He had stab wounds and was believed to have been killed sometime Wednesday evening.

“Beyond that, we have no information,” said Det. Lt. Jack Fitzpatrick at a press conference on Thursday. “We’re certainly looking for information from the public.”

Those with information on this crime can call Homicide Squad detectives at 631-852-6396, call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-8477, text tips anonymously by texting “SCPD” to “CRIMES” (274637) or email information via www.tipsubmit.com.
