We here at the Press love conspiracy theories, but doesn’t everyone? It seems like every major historic event has a conspiracy theory or theories behind it. There’s conspiracy theories for JFK’s assassination, the man on the moon landing, Tupac’s death…

Now, we know what some of you are thinking. Since when did Top Ten Tuesday turn into an alien chasing, government cover-up list?

Don’t worry, we are not typing this with tin foil hats on as we prepare for the zombie apocalypse that the government has failed to warn us about. That being said, there’s something intriguing about investigating something that may have more than meets the eye.

Some of the conspiracy theories in this week’s list have to do with well-known crimes, others with tragic disasters. Many suggest secret government operations being conducted in our own backyard. And, of course, there’s always aliens.
