by Rashed Mian on August 6, 2011

An East Farmingdale public storage facility was robbed Friday, after two men entered the store—one with a handgun—and stole cash and a cell phone.

According to Suffolk County police, the two men entered the public storage facility on Broad Hallow Road around 11:35 a.m. One of the robbers took out a handgun and ordered three employees working at the store to lay down behind the counter. The two men tied up the employees and stole cash and a cell phone, police said, and then fled on foot.

One of the suspects is described as a black male, in his late teens to early 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall to 6 feet tall, with a thin build and a dark complexion. He was wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, dark clothing with a black and white checkered bandana covering his face, police said. The other suspect is described as a black male, in his late teens to early 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a medium build, dark complexion, a thin mustache and long thin sideburns. He was wearing a dark-colored baseball cap and dark clothing.

Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
