A joint investigation between the Homicide Squad, Bureau of Special Operations and the Freeport Police Department has led to the arrests of two men on Sunday for a May 31 homicide.
The names of the two arrested have not yet been released.
Police say on May 31 at 12:35 a.m. Hempstead police responded to the Rumba Sky Bar at 19 North Franklin Street for the sound of gunshots. Upon arrival police discovered Lawrence Hartman, 28, of Freeport with multiple gun shot wounds.
The victim was transported to Nassau University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 2:07 a.m.
