Gina Casazza: Filmmaker, One Fatal Mistake

Gina Casazza of Sayville was studying film at Hunter College when she received the terrible news that her grandmother, Gina, was killed in a car accident by a drunk driver.

The outlet for Gina’s grief was filmmaking, and she started documenting the rarely seen consequences of a drunk driving fatality on a family.
