Despite being seven months pregnant celebrity stylist and star of her own Bravo reality show The Rachel Zoe Project is still an obsessive workaholic. Most recently on her agenda? The launch of her first ever major clothing line, The Rachel Zoe Collection. The production of the line was also all recorded for the fourth season of her show.

Usually a staple at the most major of fashion shows Zoe skipped out on the Milan and Paris spring fashion weeks but clearly was still hard at work. The world got its first sneak peak at the collection when Zoe and her entourage stopped by at WWD for a photoshoot styled by the stylist turned designer herself. Wearing a jacket from the collection and platform boots – even posing with the models – Zoe is amazingly slim and as fabulous as ever.
Though she previously released a small affordable collection for QVC, the Rachel Zoe Collection will be priced at the contemporary level – $250 for a day dress up to $700 for a full tuxedo look. No retailers have been confirmed yet, though Li & Fung is targeting specialty stores and better department stores. Zoe’s ideal situation includes the collection sitting alongside Diane von Furstenberg, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Alexander Wang.The collection includes perfectly tailored pieces – capes, jackets, blazers, and trousers – as well as handbags and shoes.
“I’d imagine everybody is expecting something from me that’s kind of a Seventies, uberboho-glam kind of thing, and, you know, very accessorized. And it’s not.”
Zoe’s line is definitely more simple than her own personal grandiose style but the chic glamour is all there.
Though Zoe did not overtly reveal the sex of her unborn baby, husband and manager of Rachel Zoe Inc., Roger Berman could not resist swooping in to kiss his wife’s barely there baby bump and declare “It’s a little boy” . Zoe has been advised to “slow down” during her pregnancy but this is seemingly impossible in the midst of the launch of her first namesake line as well as award season during which she will be as busy as ever – if not more. Anne Hathaway, one of Zoe’s most loyal clients, is hosting the Oscars. Zoe will be there, eight months pregnant, in four-inch heels, to supervise every outfit change.
