Calypso St. Barth For Target

by Danielle Odiamar on January 5, 2011

Target has become known for several impressive collaborations with many high-end designers over the years – Alexander McQueen, Rodarte,  Anna Sui, Proenza Schouler, Thakoon and more have all designed for the discount retailer. Up next? Calypso St. Barth, according to InStyle.com

A favorite of celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, Kate Beckinsale, and beachgoers alike Calypso St. Barth’s flowy dresses, unique patterns and easy to wear feel is a natural fit for Long Islanders in the summer while on vacation or our very own beaches and bay-side towns.

“Calypso St. Barth is a renowned global brand with an incredibly loyal following and we think Target’s guests will love the no-fuss, sophisticated appeal of the collection,” Target’s senior vice president of merchandising Trish Adams told InStyle.

The upper to moderately priced brand’s partnership with Target is set to hit stores May 1st featuring a summer collection of clothing for both women and children as well as accessories and home decor items like candles, pillows and glassware. The beachy, boho label’s collection is “perfectly timed for summer”. Though Calypso items are normally hundreds of dollars the limited-edition clothing line will range from $1.99 to $79.99.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
