Ginnifer Goodwin: Ginnifer Goodwin Says She’s Been on Weight Watchers Since She Was 9

by Lindsay Christ on December 22, 2010

Ginnifer Goodwin is literally a lifetime Weight Watchers member, as she started the program when she was 9 years old.

Goodwin, 32, told Health magazine that although she’s never had a “dramatic weight problem,” she has been watching what she eats since before her age hit the double digits. She said that the diet is the “only thing on the planet that doesn’t dehydrate her.”

The “Big Love” star said that eating healthy was an adjustment at first, and remembers that when her mother first made her a Weight Watchers dinner, she “burst out crying because the vegetables were green, and I thought she was trying to starve me to death.”

She noted that Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Biel have great Hollywood bodies, but also said that she is comfortable with her own body. “I consider myself an extremely healthy person.”
