Fall is a wonderful time of year: Leaves are turning these great shades of red and yellow, it’s just a little bit chilly outside and there’s a Greater Long Island Running Club (GLIRC) every single weekend. The annual Blazing Trails 4 Autism four-miler combines the noble act of raising money for a charity—the Eden II School for Autistic Children—a chance to see Great Neck and Lace Success draped in foliage, and a solid Sunday morning workout. As an added incentive, there will be prizes for the overall winners and top three finishers in each age group, and raffles for all.
