Zach Galifianakis: Is Zach Galifianakis Why Mel Gibson Got Cut From Hangover 2?

by James Monaco on October 22, 2010

Zach Galifianakis is rumored to be the reason that Mel Gibson’s planned cameo has been cut from The Hangover 2.

In a recent interview for podcast Comedy Death-Ray Radio, Galifianakis said — in intentionally vague terms — that he was “in a deep protest right now with a movie I’m working on…up in arms about something…but…I’m not making any leeway.” The interviewer obliquely suggested that movie was The Hangover 2, and Galifianakis did not deny this.

Entertainment Weekly and other press publications speculate that this “deep protest” may have been the cause of director Todd Phillips’ statement that Gibson’s cameo “did not have the full support of [the] entire cast and crew.”

Mel Gibson was supposed to appear briefly as a tattoo artist in the upcoming film, until Phillips announced yesterday that these plans were nixed.

In other Galifianakis news, the comedian was recently caught off guard by a gag-interview with Dallas TV host Gordon Keith.  In the interview, Keith emulates the awkward interviewer style of Galifianakis’ own Between Two Ferns series.  See the results below.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
