Long Island Football Player to Break World Record

by Jaclyn Gallucci on October 10, 2010

Long Island native and arena football kicker, Craig Pinto, will be kick field goals for 12 straight hours on October 10, for two reasons—to set a world record for most field goals kicked within that time frame, and to raise money and awareness for Celiac Disease—the disease that he has been living with for more than 10 years—while showing Celiac will not shut you down physically.

“With something that has affected me, and is so close to my heart, it only makes sense to utilize things I love – kicking and football – to raise money and awareness for my other passion,” says Craig. “And that is spreading the word and educating people about Celiac Disease.”

Each field goal will be judged by official referees to meet specific record breaking criteria, and all kicks must be from 40 yards out. All proceeds will benefit the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
