Crystal Bowersox, the runner-up on season 9 of American Idol who’s dreadlocks and acoustic guitar songs brought Janis Joplin to mind, is engaged to another musician by the name of Brian Walker.
The two have only been dating a few months but have decided to tie the knot.
Walker lives and performs in the Chicago area, and previously spent his time traveling, guitar in hand.
Although Bowersox and Walker are engaged after only a short time dating, they appear to have known each other long before their relationship. The video below, where the two sing to Bowersox’s son, was uploaded to YouTube almost a year ago. The song’s title is “Mason,” which Bowersox said inspired her son’s middle name.
