by Kaitlyn Piccoli on September 22, 2010

Lady Gaga is pissed, and she wants Senator John McCain to know it.

The singer, who has spoken out against Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, tweeted McCain asking why he and his fellow Republican Senators blocked a military bill that included a provision that could have possibly repealed DADT on Tuesday. Gaga is officially parlaying her role from pop star to activist, as she held a rally in Maine on Monday in an effort to sway the State’s two Republican Senators to vote in favor of the bill and brought four military service members who were discharged for being openly gay as her dates to the MTV Video Music Awards two weeks ago.

“@senjohnmccain the language in defense bill says it will not enforce DADT repeal until pentagon review + president signs. Why block debate?” tweeted Gaga. The 24-year-old singer is quickly becoming as talked-about for her political agenda as she is for her outlandish wardrobe choices.

So far, McCain hasn’t responded.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
